My creativity is back!

Happy monday everyone! I had an art class this weekend and feel all inspired and excited to craft this week so watch this space 🙂

Steph’s 2nd DT project :)

Good afternoon everyone. This is one of my DT projects – a hanging ATC (or photo) frame using gorgeous double-sided paper (“Tabarette” from Prima’s Zephyr Connection).

To make this you will need:
Chipboard frame
Double-sided or coordinating paper

Wet glue (PVA)

Crackle Accents

Mini bulldog clip (peg could also work)

Embellishment (I used a small flower)

Words (either in sticker or paper format)

Take apart your chipboard frame and use it as a template to draw around

Draw around the frame in your coordinating papers

Fix the paper to the frame using wet glue
Cover the outside of the frame with a thick coat of Crackle Accents and allow to dry

This is how it will dry

Fix the clip onto the top of the frame (I used the Crackle Accents). Make sure it’s in the best place to ‘frame’ an ATC. Decorate with words and embellishments

Steph’s first design project :)

Good afternoon everyone 🤗
Here’s a really quick make for those of you who might need to make a last-minute card.  And if you are able to make lots of backgrounds in advance it would be even quicker!

The materials I used from the Spring DT kit are:
A pretty Prima flower

A bunch of smaller flowers

A sentiment from the Echo Park Springtime collection

Coloured card blank to coordinate with the flower (approx 15cm²)

White cardstock (or watercolour paper) cut down to 14cm²

Art materials to create the background (I used watercolour pens/gelatos) and pen

Some die cuts I found in my stash
Backgrounds are really fun to make and you can really let your creativity loose using a big range of art/craft materials – paints, inks, dyes, stencils, stamps, pens, washi, pastels……

Ayesha’s 2nd design team project

Here is my 2nd DT project “10 things i love about you” … this stamp set i’ve had since like forever 😀 so when i saw the DT KIT i knew i had to use it –

Product detail:

1. First card layer is Carta Bella – “Cupid’s Arrow”

2. I realized it needed something darker so i layered again with Base card Echo Park – “Lucky in love”

3. The tags inside are a mix of Echo Park “Yours Truly”, “Lucky in Love” Journalling Cards and from Simple stories journaling card sheet.

4. Mulberry flowers used are also from the kit ….

Now whoever is lucky enough to be able to quote 10 things about their loved ones i say its a fun project lol … matchbox is assembled one but you can easily make your own or recycle one….

Why not start sharing what you’re making theses days for your loved ones ? 🙂

ooooh love these colour ! :) Simple Stories Carpe Diem Posh Planners

Really loving the colour of these planners. They aren’t new no, but they stand there time I believe, a real classic.  It comes with lots of inserts, dividers dashboards etcetera and a cute little charm. There’s a loop to keep your favourite pen in and plenty of pocket space to add your favourite accessories. It’s an A5 planner so you can combine with lots of your other planner accessories and change your inserts easily. The brand offers many coordinating accessories such as a variety of  stickers, tape, clips, washi and so forth Simple Stories is such a great, versatile brand and love how you can easily mix and match there collections so you can keep even older planners new. They are both bold and yet still radiate a feminine feel. I like how they can for example, take florals and make quite simple designs that pop out rather than being too fussy. The are a smart and modern twist on feminine and that’s what I love about the Carpe Diem range. This planner would look right at home in anyone’s office, craft room or bag 🙂
