Guest DT Debra with Lawn Fawn…

Hi I’m a guest DT member and having a play today with some lovely Lawn Fawn stamps. This is the gorgeous Jump for Joy set
I’ve stamped them using black Versafine ink & coloured them with Promarkers. I stamp using a Misti but they stamp beautifully from any stamp block.

I’ve added a video on the facebook

group of how I like to colour the little critters and now they are finished and cut out I can start using them on a project
Finished card using the Lawn Fawn Jump for Joy stamp that I coloured earlier. I combined it with the flower set

The colours go so well with it.

I’ve also added lots of stages of the card as I was making it.

Bursting with Joy…

Hi Guest DT Hannah here πŸ™‚

Hands up…. who wants to be 5 again?? βœ‹πŸΌ finally got to get my hands on my mini kit and started crafting this evening. The first thing I wanted to make was a box card, we have a Birthday Party next weekend and what 5 year old doesn’t want a card that’s literally bursting out of a box?! Nb: I’m not 5 and want one!!

This was fairly simple to make (believe it or not) check out the tutorials on YouTube for box cards. I used some of the stickers from the EP – Life captured collection, also some hearts (cut from one of the 12×12 papers)… the front sheet that comes on the EP kit is great to use as matching ephemera, so I cut a few of those out and stuck them on card.

Hope you alll have a fab long weekend πŸŽ‰

Our first guest DT project…

Hannah Abboudi here and super excited to be doing my first post as guest designer! πŸŽ‰ a family friend had a minor op this week so what better way to help the healing process than a handmade note card and chocolates 😍

I used the Lawn Fawn – Get Well Soon stamp set, and coloured in with some Tim Holtz distress ink pads (smooshed (is that even a word??) them onto some acetate added a little water and used like watercolours. Distress inks are so versatile! I love that!

To make the goodie bag I used an A5 clear plastic pouch (the kind you put into an A5 folder) cut off the holes, popped the chocolates in and folded over the top and sealed. Then I cut down some craft cardstock to size, scored down the centre, and used the red double sided tape to secure (we don’t want the chocolates escaping!). I used a scallop circle die to cut the white scallops.

The note card was super simple, I actually made 5 of these and it took me all of 20mins! Plasters and sentiment stamped onto white card stock and coloured with Tim holtz distress inks, with the same technique as above 😊 let me know if you have any questions?

A little birdie told me my design kit should arrive soon, I’m currently nagging the hubby to build me some kind of contraption so I can film some process videos 😊 supplies available at Thompsons website listed below πŸŽ‰
