Mini journal…

I remembered this little book I had and thought it would be good to play with before I take the plunge with my huge Dylusions journal

I have lots of bits of paper and die cuts so used these and some stickers for the cover

The texture at the bottom of this page was some prima light paste mixed with their mica powder. The dream catcher has prima waxes and paints added. The little used some of the distress oxide inks. The doily had distess crayons woth a mica spray added ontop and blended.

Here some different die cuts and washi. The 3d embellishment, I used some patina pastes on (Oh they are gorgeous!) And a added a gem.

This page has some glitter paste through a stencil. The same stencil was used top and bottom with some distress inks. Stickers, chipboard and die cuts were added to finish.

The fine page again used light paste and mica. Some stamped music notes were added top and bottom and embossed. Finally chipboard and die cuts were added.

I’m enjoying this little book so far and look forward to continuing.

Double trouble…

Look a this beautiful double scrapbook page from DT Jane.

she has layered some of our 6×6 papers with die cuts, stickers and added some tags made with the paper and some other embellishments

Start of a mini journal…

Yesterday I had some free time, but i think my holiday caught up to me so wanted to do something simple.

Here you will see the little videos I made

Part 1
Part 2
I had an Amy Tangerine little book for a while and thought it would be nice to start that.

I will show In these videos how, with just a few simple items, you can complete pages.

I hope to carry this on this week as it’s a perfect little project to be able to nip in and out of whilst doing other things.

Hope you enjoy.

Lovely trip in Ireland…

We have had a fantastic week here in Ireland I’ll be sad to go home.
1st part we stayed in Dublin and it’s a very interesting, lively city

We visited the temple bar area for a few drinks of course

There was some lovely art and buildings in the area too

We of course visits the Guinness tour as well

The second part of our week we have been more relaxed in the beautiful mountains and forests of Rostrevor in northern Ireland and even a vintage car show

We will be sure to visit this beautiful place again 🙂

Summer scorcher…

Hi Jane here ☺️ just thought I’d show you all my first make with my new DT kit,

I’ve used some of the American crafts paper And die cuts to make

Adding some bakers twine and mulberry paper flowers.

It’s a really simple design and just really layering everything to give it some depth.

Loving the summer colours too!!
