Mixed media hoop- February Kit

Happy Saturday everyone,

February is here finally so the new mixed media kit. I prepare the mixed media hoop for you…

The vivid and fresh colours are themed in the kit hence it is all very colorful.

Use the fabric from the kit and stretch over the hoop

I used crackle paste all over the hoop.

I used the chipboard add ons , gesso them before placing them on the hoop. Use the pompon ribbon , I cut it into small piece and adhered using the heavy body gel from the kit. Let it dry, I did mine over night

Add the the tiny stones and chunky glitter from the kit for texture. Use heavy body gel.

When dry, cover the whole piece in a white gesso

I used Lindy’s sprays to add some colours.

I painted some elements with coordinating shimmer acrylic paints

I splattered some red and gold paint

Add the puffy sentiment from the kit. I used a bit of gold wax on it. Add some other embellishments from the kit as desired…

At some point trim the excessive fabric if you want… I did ….

And that is my first projects from the February kit.
